CCI is a robust network of industry, higher education, and economic development partners across the Commonwealth of Virginia. By enhancing collaborations, CCI is building an ecosystem greater than the sum of its parts.

CCI includes teams developed across the Network that provide interdisciplinary capability and expertise in AI assurance, 5G wireless security, and cyberphysical system security.

Collaborative Programs

CCI Fellows

CCI Fellows support a collaborative network of research and experiential learning excellence across the Commonwealth Cyber Initiative Network. CCI Fellows represent their home institution and resident Node to provide leadership in establishing large research and experiential learning programs in CCI’s focus areas across the Network.

5G Security Testbed

A unique, state-wide 5G wireless security testbed provides partnering opportunities in unique, real-world testing environments built on a common platform of research infrastructure and expertise.

AI Assurance

Experts in artificial intelligence, statistics, security, policy, and law are joining together to build a unique asset for ensuring the trustworthiness of AI technologies.
